Senior pictures with Lara Blair Photography

One of my favorite portrait challenges is coming up with a truly unique and different high school senior session…one that reflects the person on every level. I love going on location (we shot with a vintage biplane a year ago!) and calling in favors with friends to use unique items (a pink Volkswagen bug, anyone?) Brainstorming ideas with a kid is the best way to come up with a show-stopping idea.

That being said, I really love working with theater and music kids. I was one of them back in the day. These performers tend to come to me with their own awesome ideas. They’re fearless and fun and fabulous. Take Lily, for example.

This beautiful human had some test shoots with me this winter and spring and I couldn’t be more excited to plan her senior shoot! I have a feeling about this one…a this-is-going-to-be-amazing sensation in my gut. I mean, look at what we already made together just for fun!?

Because we put so much time and effort into these sessions, we’ve decided to only take 10 this year. We booked three last week, so (big math person that I am :) ), there are 7 left. Will it be you? Will it be your offspring? We sure hope so! Give us a call or DM us to find out all the details about our incredible senior session experience. We’re pumped and ready to create something entirely new and unique.

I love a creative challenge more than turquoise roller skates…and that’s really saying somethin’.
